After graduating from the University of Houston, Adeena earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. During her time there, Adeena actively promoted mental health awareness and worked to break down stereotypes surrounding mental health topics. She collaborated with on-campus mental health services and organized various events, including informative sessions tailored to the student body.
Her interest in Indonesia includes examining the history of the spread of Islam and its integration with diverse cultural traditions. Particularly, Adeena is fascinated by Indonesia, a predominantly Muslim-populated country, which motivated her to pursue a Fulbright ETA position. Through this experience, Adeena aims to deepen her understanding of various cultures and the interactions between non-Muslim and Muslim communities. https://www.aminef.or.id/adeena-ali/
